We are absolutely delighted to announce that the board of trustees for the Transglobe Expedition Trust unanimously agreed to support the summer 2015 expedition of the Northeast Greenland Caves Project.
The Transglobe Expedition Trust is a charity that was established in 1993 to perpetuate the memory of the Transglobe Expedition by supporting humanitarian, scientific or educational projects which follow in the expedition’s tradition of adventure and perseverance. This tradition was described by its patron HRH the Prince of Wales as “mad but marvellous”. The board of trustees includes: Sir Ranulph Fiennes Bt OBE; Peter Bowring CBE; Anton Bowring; Alan Britten CBE; George Capon; Simon Gault; Susannah Gault; Richard Jackson; Oliver Shepard; Ed Stafford; Kevin Traverse-Healy, and; Alexia Traverse-Healy.
For The Northeast Greenland Caves Project, it is a great honour to be supported by such great and inspiring explorers.
